Currently, there are over 60 players set to attend Saturday’s 2018 Florida All-State Games.

There will be a strong presence of high caliber 2019s in attendance, which includes several uncommitted prospects. Starting with the committed 2019s, C Christian Pregent (Stetson recruit) has been a big riser both offensively and defensively over the summer, and currently sits at No. 23 in the updated Florida Class of 2019 Rankings.

MIF Jorel Ortega (Tennessee recruit) was a standout from the PBR ProCase who also made a big jump in the rankings. 3B/RHP Carmine Lane (South Florida recruit) has shown potential at the plate and on the mound, while RHP Bryce Einstein (Lipscomb recruit) creates deception with a low arm slot, generating plenty of weak fly ball outs. Also, a pair of St. John’s River JC recruits in C Kalvin Alexander and 1B/RHP Cal Gilliam were PBR ProCase participants who stood out offensively earlier in the summer.

On the uncommitted side, RHP/1B Casey Daiss (TNXL Academy, FL) has been in the low 90s on the mound, IF Luis Ruiz (Brito Miami HS, FL) shows a feel for the barrel and always seems to get a hit, IF Andrew Bergeron (IMG Academy, FL) displays potential defensively and offensively, while MIF Elian Roman (Cypress Creek HS, FL) is one of the top uncommitted infielders still on the board.

The 2020 Class will have a strong showing as well lead by MIF Jordan Carrion (Florida recruit) who is ranked No. 5 in the recently updated and expanded Florida Class of 2020 Rankings and been a major standout at multiple events over the summer.

MIF Sammy Infante (Miami recruit) is currently ranked No. 6 in the 2020 Class and has shown above average athleticism with an advanced approach at the plate. LHP/OF Ryan Bruno (Stanford recruit) who sits at No. 15 has a projectable frame and been up to 90 mph recently. C Sebastian Jimenez (Florida International recruit) has an athletic, projectable frame and more power to come at the plate as he fills out.

RHP/OF Jaden Bruno (Stanford recruit) has also been in the mid to high 80s on the mound.

A trio of uncommitted 2020 infielders to watch will be the athletic and high upside Keanu Jacobs-Guishard (St. Thomas Aquinas HS, FL), the twitchy, multi positional defender with a strong arm in Jesus Pacheco (Cypress Bay HS, FL ) and Brandon Ortiz (Cypress Bay HS, FL) who has shown athletic, projectable actions and a compact swing.  C/1B Roberto Moya (Monsignor Pace HS, FL) has a physical frame who shows present gap-to-gap power from the right side of the plate. An arm to keep an eye on will be LHP Sebastian Bentz (Elite Squad Academy, FL) who has shown a deceptive delivery and a fastball in the low 80s.

For the 2021s, a major arm to watch who is currently ranked No. 2 in the Florida 2021 Class will be RHP Irving Carter (Miami recruit) who is currently listed at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds with a strong, athletic frame and a fastball that has been into the high 80s, touching 90 along with a feel for his offspeed stuff.

Anther 2021 to keep an eye on is MIF Dorian Gonzalez Jr. (Belen Jesuit, FL) who has shown an advanced approach from the left side at the plate. A 2022 to follow is C Brice Montiel (Cardinal Gibbons HS, FL), who is an athletic switch-hitter with all around tools to follow.
