Season Snapshot

Coach Chris Rodriguez returns for his 12th season at the helm for the Hoyas. After winning the IAC championship in 2019 and playing in the championship series nine of the past ten seasons, this year’s team returns some major contributors and figures to once again compete for the IAC crown. Seniors TJ Williams (Notre Dame), Sage Dobbs (Richmond), and Brendan Hurt will look to lead a young, talented team to continue the winning tradition. Juniors Tim Nicholson (George Washington), Cian Sahler, and Brian Depman, Sophomore Kerry Herndon-Brown (North Carolina), and Freshman Tommy Roldan (Virginia) all figure to play major roles as well. The pitching staff has a deep an talented group, with Dobbs, Sahler, Herndon-Brown,  Sophomore  Brock Rose (Xavier) and Roldan will lead the charge from the mound. Williams anchors the outfield and batting line-up with speed, power and finesse while Hurt and Depman bring toughness and leadership to the infield. Each will help bring stability to a very young group. Nicholson holds everything together as one of the best defensive catchers in the entire area. His bat will also play well in the middle of the order. This talented group will certainly be fun to watch this season.
