Uncommitted Spotlight: 2024 Tracen Cameron

Throughout the year we will be highlighting players throughout the state with Uncommitted Spotlights. We will highlight 2023, 2024, and 2025 players who are still looking for a school to call home at the next level. The state of Florida is full of uncommitted players who have the talent to play at the next level. These players deserve as much exposure as they can get in order to help them find the right home.
Today, we will highlight 2024 Tracen Cameron. Tracen is an athletic 6-foot, 175 pound two-way player. A primary shortstop with a lot to like on the mound as well. Tracen attends John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, FL. Outside of high school, he plays travel ball with Canes Florida. Cameron ranks No. 46 in the Florida 2024 rankings and 447th nationally. Cameron is a 7.01 runner and has an above average arm up to 90 in the infield and sits upper 80s with his fastball. Tracen shows mature, athletic actions in all parts of his game and is one of the top remaining uncommitted players in his class. He was a member of Team Florida at the 2022 PBR Future Games.
