There were many players that stood out this past weekend. Here's a look at some of the top seniors from the Academy World Series.

North Carolina recruit, stocky, strong right-hander works downhill with a 90-93 mph fastball that has some late life down in the zone. He showed an above average slider at 80-83 mph with some tilt. Charles can lose command at times, but has a high ceiling.

Hamilton Martinez RHP / Heritage Christian, FL / 2019

FIU commit was sitting 88-90 and was effortless when throwing. Kept the ball low in the zone with all pitches. Curveball was sitting around 72-73.

Christian Bernabe 3B / SS / Deland, FL / 2019

Arkansas-Little Rock commit looked great with a balanced approach at the plate and great barrel awareness. Moved athletically all over the field on the bases and defense.

Jose Fulgencio SS / OF / TNXL Academy, FL / 2019

Uncommitted shortstop showed off great range and body control at short. At 6-feet 170 pounds, he can move around the infield well. He flashed the leather and showed off an above average arm.

Tyrell Brewer SS / 2B / TNXL Academy, FL / 2019

FSU recruit. He showed exceptional patience at the plate by working long at-bats the entire game. His swing was very short and compact with the barrel staying through three to four balls. Flashed great instincts on the base paths, stealing multiple bases.

USC-Upstate recruit, he stands 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. Strong frame with some projection remaining. He has a feel to pitch with that fastball sitting mostly 80-83 touching 85 mph. The breaking ball had quality shape and action at 70-72 mph and will improve as it is thrown harder. Like the upside still to come.
