Charlotte commit.  Lanky build at 6 foot 3, 180-pounds.  Fluid tempo to the delivery with a compact delivery.  Knee works up to the chest with the arm working down out of the glove.  Slightly across his body with a closed toe landing.  Quick arm through release from a high ¾ slot, with some head tilt to the first base side.  Gets his fastball to both sides of the plate at 87-89 mph, topping at 90 mph.  Flashed feel for his slider at times with fastball hand speed.  Slider is tight with 11/5 tilt at 77-79 mph. Changeup shows up in the zone with sink at 80-82 mph.  Should have jumps ahead with added strength to his projectable frame.

Charlotte commit.  Athletic build with long levers at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds.  Frame will continue to handle strength as he matures.  Fastball jumped on hitters, creating chase when elevated.  Ranged 86-89, straight but hard.  Slider is new to the repertoire featuring downer tilt at 74-77.  Fastball look-alilke created chase down in the zone.  Erratic at times with the pitch, misses were buried underneath strike zone.  Straight change-up looks like fastball out of the hand at 73.  Shows feel for the change.  Stable head over the rubber throughout the delivery with some rhythm.  Level, the shoulders close through balance, working back to on-line at foot-strike.  Long arm swing with a slight bottoming out.  High front side glove provides some deception.  Over-the-top release and quick hand.  Fights for extension on a strong, stable front side.

Athletic presence on the mound at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds.  Fastball sat 85-87, touching 88 in both innings and reaching a 90.  Angle and tilt are present when the arm is on time and the ball is working downhill.  Arm side run to the arm side when downhill.  Loose hips, works to coil at balance.  Front side uses a glove point to set the line.  Some rhythm throughout, the shoulders work level and the body lands on-line.  Better velocity when extension is present.  Occasionally still uncoiling and will fall slightly to the 1B side.  Long arm swing works behind the body line, reaching for length, eventually getting to a high-3/4 slot.  Quick hand through release.  Breaking ball works with erratic shape but flashes a swing and miss potential pitch, ranging 71-74.  The 11/5 shape will morph into a 10/4 or sweepy breaking ball.  Works with good hand speed and is around the zone with the spin pitch.  Straight change-up sat 72.  Occasionally slows the arm to gain feel.  Ceiling remains high and projectable.
