First Base

 

Tyler Jennings 1B / Liverpool, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 100 / POS: 3 Large frame at 6-foot-4 180 pounds for the 2020 grad. Balanced approach at the plate with some acceleration through the zone. Works low to the ground at first; moving efficiently around the bag.

Gavin Leahy 1B / West Genesee, NY / 2019 Strong offensively with power to the gaps, big stocky build defender. Serviceable around the bag.

Middle Infielders

Kobe Stenson SS / Liverpool, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 10 / POS: 3 Stenson will have plenty of eyes on him this summer; tremendous lateral range up the middle; soft hands and can make the play on the move. Arm strength steadily climbing(84 MPH in February). Open stance; repeats efforts with middle of the field results.

Sean O'Connor SS / 3B / Fayetteville-Manlius, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 137 / POS: 27 Athletic 6-foot-2 left side infielder who can swing it from left side. Runs a 6.91 60; active defender, hands work out in front with accurate arm. Excited to see him over the three days.

Blake VanDreason 3B / RHP / Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 141 / POS: 12 RHH checks in at 6-foot-0 180 pounds; balance approach at the plate with an even setup. Up right defender who ranges well up the middle. Will also see time on the mound; was 78-79 MPH back in February of 2017.

Joe Wike SS / 2B / Bishop Grimes, NY / 2020 Smaller build, consistent contact with some power for his size. High baseball IQ, solid actions defensively.

 

Third Base

Jacob Coleman SS / 2B / Auburn , NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 284 / POS: 55 6-foot-2 186 pound left side infielder who hits from a deep crouch; explodes through the ball. Quick first step, active feet; works low through the ball.

Aaron Simons 3B / 2B / Rome Free Academy, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 330 / POS: 31 LHH infielder with an upright, open stnace. Easy effort, line drive stroke that stays in the zone. Adequate defender that can be used in a few different positions.

Patrick Sherron RHP / 3B / Rush-Henrietta, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 83 / POS: 26 Broad shouldered 3B with some pop to his pull side. Accurate arm from a low slot release. Will see some time from the mound; works in the mid to upper 70's.

Outfielders

Holden Lazarus OF / Ithaca, NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 24 / POS: 6 Impressive athlete at 6-foot-0 185 pounds; high end offensive capabilities but can also work in the low to mid 80's on the mound as a 2020 grad.

Sam Allen 2B / OF / Oswego , NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 91 / POS: 3 No stranger to the PBR circuit, Allen has a pure RH swing and suprising power for his size. Bat whips through the zone; 6.90 runner. Versatile defender that handle middle infield and OF spots.

Joe Comins OF / West Genesee, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 217 / POS: 29 Athletic 6-foot-0 165 pound OF that attended last year's event. Balanced, line drive approach from the left side. Accurate arm from the OF that peaked at 81 MPH last June. Looking forward to seeing him once again.

CJ Latham OF / OF / Shenendehowa, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 326 / POS: 50 Wiry strong LHH with some bat speed through the zone. Aggressive approach in the outfield with and arm that was 80 MPH back in February.

Pitcher Only

 

Jack Gordon RHP / West Genesee, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 112 / POS: 30 Shows a solid three-pitch mix, has the ability to very tough on hitters with low-80's FB potential. Solid frame for the mound.

Jacob Sanders RHP / 1B / Auburn , NY / 2020 Rankings  StateRank: 31 / POS: 8 Great size from the 2020 righty. High ceiling arm who was up to 83-84 this past Feb. Has a feel for off-speed, exciting prospect to follow at the NYS Games.

Austin Wainer RHP / 2B / Somers, NY / 2020 Slender build with a slower pace to his mechanics, arm is live out in front with a fastball that was up to 78 mph this past Feb. There is plenty more to come from the 2020 RHP.

Dominic Schmidt LHP / Kenmore West, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 171 / POS: 13 Pitchers build with sound mechanics, last year he was up to 81 mph with a feel for his off-speed. We expect to see him at another gear come the NYS Games.

Ethan Baldwin RHP / 3B / Ogdensburg Free Academy, NY / 2019 Rankings  StateRank: 124 / POS: 37 Athletic build with projection on the bump from the right side. Capable of mid-upper 80's with feel for a breaking ball.
