OTHERS TO WATCH: SS Timmy Borden (Providence HS, IN) has a strong, athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. The Louisville recruit shows athletic actions in the field with above average arm strength. Offensively, he hits from an athletic, slightly open set-up and his hands are quick through the zone. He also possesses gap-to-gap power. LHP Carter Lohman (Hamilton Southeastern HS, IN), a Louisville recruit, is a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder with a fastball up to 91 mph, and consistently sits in the upper 80s. His breaking ball is a potential plus pitch with late tilt at 78-81 mph while the changeup is above average at 80-82 mph with late arm-side depth. RHP Garrett Burhenn (Lawrence North HS, IN), an Ohio State recruit, stands at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds and ran his fastball up to 94 mph this spring on multiple occasions, sitting mostly 88-91 mph. The slider has swing-and-miss potential at 82-86. RHP Zach Messinger (Castle HS, IN) has a big pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-6, 200 pounds. He’s athletic with tons of projection and ran his fastball up to 92 this spring, sitting 87-90 with life through the zone. His mid-70s breaking ball is sharp and has swing-and-miss potential. RHP Bradley Brehmer (Decatur Central HS, IN), a Wright State recruit, possesses a projectable pitcher’s build at 6-foot-5, 190 pounds. He has shown the ability to run his fastball up to 91 mph, sitting consistently in the upper-80s. He also flashes an average breaking ball in the mid to upper 70s with slider type action.
