12/16/17:  6-foot, 150 pound shortstop hits from a tall, open setup.  Big leg kick and barrel tip during load.  Has rhythm, foot gets down late at times.  Long, level bat path.  Some bat speed.  Opposite field approach.  High exit velocity of 78.  Defensively, Hinds has a strong arm across the infield.  Ball has carry, topping at 82.  Quick transfer and release.  Showed the ability to play through the baseball.  Ran a 7.35 60 yard dash.
