Gage Stanifer

Scouting Report

Fall 2021: A Cincinnati recruit, Stanifer saw his stock rise this fall with a fastball up to 95, routinely sitting in the low 90s. Stanifer has a sharp, low-80s slider with tighter spin that he can land for a strike as well change shape and bury late, getting swings and misses. He boasts an athletic 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame with broad shoulders. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with quick arm speed. Overall, he has good projection with more velocity in the tank

Cincinnati commit. Has a fast twitch athletic wiry frame body. Broad shoulders with high waist. Powerful upper torso. Durable hips and legs. Starts from the far-left side of the rubber. Has a short side step start that follows with a middle of belt separation. Short hand pump generates energy to his follow through. Displays a ¾-arm slot, high tuck leg kick, slight drop and drive to get to front side. Arm is quick. Front side opens up early and glove side tends to balance him out in his delivery. He clears his front side to allow his sweeping arm to release point. Has some hyperactive actions that he uses to his advantage in a positive way. Quick worker and full throttle approach. Arm strength is present and feel for a sharp CB with  bite that at times shows SL actions. Stanifer, as he matures could develop a true SL with a Changeup that has late fade. The athleticism is solid and his arm is pure. Solid projection to future is he will throw even harder.

Cam Decker

Scouting Report

6/27/21 Midwest Premier: Decker is a threat to leave the yard every time he steps in the box and opposing pitchers knew it. Decker went big fly three times but was also walked 8 times a pitchers tried to keep the ball in play. The right-handed hitter shows real power and the intent to do damage every time he comes to the plate.

4/22/21: The Central Florida commit did what we’ve grown accustomed to seeing since last summer, and that’s drive the baseball with power. In the third, Decker crushed a ball well over the centerfield wall for a for two-run homer. From the right-side of the plate he starts in a balanced setup with a higher hand set, medium stride. Quick bat speed through the zone with some whip. At 6-foot-1, 204 pounds he has strong hands and a strong lower half helping him drive the ball consistently with power
