PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Paxton: I’m interested in any school in the Midwest that offers courses in accounting. I’d also like to go to a school that will push me as a player as I continue to develop.

PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?

Paxton: I feel like I had a successful year my junior year starting at first base. For my junior year my batting average was .311 and on base percentage was .543. We made it to the state tournament and lost in the first round to Blue Valley.

PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?

Paxton: My goals for my senior season is to fully develop as a position player, and as a pitcher. I think I can contribute to our team in different areas as a senior. We would like to make it back to the state tournament and end my high school career with a state championship.

PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?

Paxton: This last Summer I played for the Derby Tigers. I now play for the Wichita Sluggers for the Summer and just finished up fall ball with them.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Paxton: I don’t play any other sports, but I play basketball for fun to help condition and I love to go fishing in my down time.

PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?

Paxton:  My GPA is a 3.6 and my ACT is a 21 but I plan on taking my ACT again in the future.
