PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Holen: A good learning environment, high academics, and also a good baseball program.

PBR: How did you do your sophomore year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do? Name some players that will play a key role for your team in 2016.

Holen: I performed well last year. My batting average was around .300-.350. Im not sure of the exact average but it was around there. I played well defensively, could have been better as a leader but I will definitely work on that this fall and going into my senior year. Our team was 10-10, and we lost in the second round of regional's to the state champions (Lawrence Free State). Some key players that we will have will be Grant Munsen, a left-handed pitcher, Darien Stokes, an out-fielder and also a short-stop,  and also Brady Woborny, another catcher.

PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?

Holen: My goals for senior year are to get better individually, and also to become the best teammate I can be. Also I want to strive to win a state championship. I want to be statistically better than I was the year before in every aspect of the game. And lastly, I would like to prepare myself physically and mentally to play baseball at the next level.

PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?

Holen: I play for the Midwest Blacksox. I am playing fall ball for them as well.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Holen: No I do not.

PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?

Holen: My ACT is 23 and my GPA is 3.7
