Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Prep Baseball KS Player of the Week. We will rely on submissions from high school coaches and others by way of email ([email protected]) or DM on X (twitter). Nominations should include player name, grad year, position, and stat line. KS HS Position Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week will be released every Tuesday after noon.

Let's take a look at the Pitcher of the Week for Week 7 (April 29 - May 5th):

Logan Baalmann SS / RHP / Thomas More Prep-Marian, KS / 2027 The freshman right-hander twirlled a 7 inning complete game against in town rival Hays High allowing 4 H and 0 ER while punching out 6. He also threw a perfect inning against Salina-Sacred Heart. For good measure, Baalmann went 10-for-20 with 7RBI’s at the plate.
