After the bullpens position players ran a laser timed 60 followed by BP on the field with Trackman collecting ball flight data. After BP outfielders and infielders went through a defensive evaluation.

Quick Hitters - Pitchers

Wilson Aubut, RHP, Sanderson HS, 2026
Average frame at 5-foot-11, 150 pounds.  Young.  Solid ride on the fastball, peaking at 81.  Showed feel and good arm speed on a change-up with fade out of a similar window to the fastball.  Arm strength over arm speed.  Over-the-top with average arm speed.

Brendan Chamberlain, RHP, Granville Central HS, 2024
Athletic build at 6-foot-1, 155 pounds.  Long, loose arm swing, turning the ball early in the cocking phase.  Over-the-top release.  Loose hips.  Projection left.  Fastball at 80-82, 1948rpm.  Average ride.  11/5 tilt on the breaking ball at 64-66, 1913rpm.  Big action, working early out of the hand.

Carter Moore, RHP, South Johnston HS, 2024
Lots of length with broad shoulders and athleticism over the rubber at 6-foot-6, 180 pounds.  Fastball peaked at 80, 2081rpm with excellent carry through the zone, suggesting he may be able to create swing and miss in the zone with increased velocity.  12:45 spin tilt at release.  Top to bottom breaking ball at 68-69, 1765rpm.  Hump out of the hand and early action with solid tilt.  Long arm stroke, bottoming out leaving the glove, working to an over-the-top slot.  Average to above arm speed through release.

Tyler Ruta, RHP, Heritage HS, 2025
5-foot-10, 150 pounds.  Fastball worked with over 17in of horizontal run, working early out of the hand at 78-81.  2:00 spin tilt at release.  Quick arm.  Plunges out of the glove into a long arm stroke, some stiffness to a high-¾ slot.  Average to above arm speed.  Heavy run on the change-up as well.

Cole Kuklick, RHP, Heritage HS, 2024
Strength present at 6-foot, 165 pounds.  Choppy rhythm in the delivery, pausing through balance, but showing an ability to throw strikes.  Better feel for the glove side.  Long arm swing and over-the-top slot.  Average to above arm speed.  Some elbow lead as the arm works to the cocking phase.  Fastball peaking at 84.4mph, 2302rpm.  Played true out of the hand.  10/4 tilt on the breaking ball at 70-72, 2243rpm.

Edwin Speas, RHP, Wake Forest HS, 2025
Athleticism present in a 5-foot-7, 140 pound frame.  Quick arm works with looseness through a high-¾ slot.  Fastball at 81-83, 2136rpm with solid arm side run out of the hand.  Occasional late, darting action.  Strike thrower, was able to move the fastball around in the zone.  Good arm speed on a short, late, 10/4 breaking ball at 67-70, 2051rpm.  Good feel for the breaking ball.

Landon Garry, RHP, Heritage HS, 2024
Length present in a thin, athletic 6-foot-2, 178 pound frame.  Fastball is very intriguing as it spun up to 2538rpm with 12:00pm spin tilt out of the hand.  The fastball lacked the ride the spin could create, leaving room to the ceiling of the fastball sitting at 76-79 now.  Erratic, he was elevated when in the zone.  The breaking ball also had an advanced spin rate, maxing at 2555rpm.
