(#1) BISHOP GORMAN VS. CORONA (CA)

KAMDYN PERRY

RHP / 1B / BISHOP GORMAN, NV / 2023

The Bishop Gorman ace proved why (again) last night against one of the top teams in the country in #22 ranked Corona. Relying solely on his fastball/slider two-pitch mix, Perry showed an improved ability to command the zone early, only falling behind a handful of times throughout the game, and pitch backwards when needed. His fastball velocity maintained as well, sitting 89-91 with a few 92 mph bumps when he needed it with his two-seam mixed in with more ride on his arm side. The Gorman bats are making a lot of noise, but an anchor on the mound like Perry has the Gaels primed for a big Spring season.
