Your #1 source for high school baseball coverage is back to work, as PBR Nevada staff continues its "boots on the ground" efforts to bring you the most credible and up to date information on the spring season. PBR Nevada will be covering multiple games a week, bringing to you: game recaps, player spotlights, and updated power rankings.
As we cover the season, we appreciate any and all stats/video recorded, and may be shared to [email protected] to expand our avenues of information consumed. Our ultimate goal is to bring as much exposure to Nevada players and teams possible, any info will be appreciated.

The Mustangs took on the Crusaders in what turned out to be a pitchers dual between Shadow Ridge's 2022 Uncommitted LHP, Noah Egbalic, and Nevada's top Uncommitted 2022 arm out of Faith Lutheran, Karl Ralamb. The first run of the game crossed home plate in the 3rd inning, on an errant throw, putting Shadow Ridge up 1-0, but Faith answered quickly with a run of their own from a bloop single over third base scoring sure handed, Uncommitted IF, Caden Richards, making it 1-1 after 3 complete. Richards was not done there, in his third and fourth at-bats, he produced two more singles that brought in a pair of runs to extend the Crusader's lead to 3-1. Meanwhile, Ralamb continued to cruise through 6.0 innings, sitting 88-91 mph while touching 92-93 when he need to and supplemented his fastball with an 11/5 curveball that show potential plus action that he comfortably used to both get ahead of batters as well as a strikeout pitch, working off a similar plane to his fastball out of the hand. His dominant performance on the mound earned him Player of the Game honors. After a pitching change, Shadow Ridge showed their grit with a late rally attempt, scoring one run in the top of the 7th inning with the tying and winning runs both on base, but a ground ball to short and flip to second for the third out sealing the victory for Faith Lutheran, improving their record to 2-0 on the year.
