The Nevada Sports Academy Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the NSA program to highlight and promote players in their program.

The metrics collected at the Scout Day have been uploaded to each player's PBR Profile and we now break down the top statistical performers from the Nevada Baseball Academy Scout Day. The statistical standouts began with 2022 OF, Preston Joncich, posting a personal best 6.86 Laser Timed 60, followed closely by two-way Uncommmitted 2023, Ty Phillips, who posted a 6.97. Offensively, we saw a number of quality rounds with the Top Exit Velocity coming from the bat of 2023, Jacob Morrison, at 90 mph. On the bump is where the NSA had some impressive showing where Uncommitted 2022 RHP, Conner Meldrim, ran it up to 86 mph with life on each of his pitches and small school prospect in Boulder City's 2023, 6-foot-2 right hander, Kanon Welbourne, topping out at 83 mph with much more to come.
