#TeamNevada Commitment Tracker: Logan Cockrill

This past summer saw the top players in our state joined together to create Team Nevada and represent our state against the top Uncommitted prospects from around the country at the Junior Future Games, Future Games and the inaugural West Coast Games. Players from this team were selected from standout performances at their High School Scout Days and Open Scout Days, as well as the Underclass and Upperclass Top Prospect Games. The Team Nevada prospects were able to showcase their "stuff" in front of the hundreds of collegiate scouts in attendance at each of the national event with helping the 15 prospects currently committed with many more expected to come in the next couple months.

We continue our #TeamNevada Commitment Tracker feature with West Coast Games standout and Centennial backstop, Logan Cockrill, who will be staying home at the College of Southern Nevada.

2021 West Coast Games Report - "The Centennial product came into the West Coast Games as one of the top Uncommitted prospects in Nevada's 2022 class. Cockrill made an immediate impression on the PBR Staff in attendance with an event best 1.92 PBR Verified Pop Time as well as a 77 mph Catcher Velocity that also earned him a share of the #2 spot in that statistical category. Offensively, he showed his ability to drive the ball to all fields during the with a Peak Exit Velocity of 95.28 mph, while proving he has quality barrel awareness with an Average Exit Velocity 89.76 mph. His receiving and in-game management is what sets Cockrill apart, as his proven catch and throw tool makes him an intriguing prospect that projects to transition well to the next level and a potential middle of the order bat."
