PBR Staff
We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at 2022 LHP Robby Snelling (McQueen).
LHP Robby Snelling: Large frame, athletic build. Starts tall, on left side of the rubber. Displayed an easy, repeatable delivery with athletic movements down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with a quick and direct arm path. Sinks down into back leg as he moves down mound, generates power through the throw. Pulls down hard as he finishes. Showed some feel for changeup, when thrown down in the zone showed late life and some sink. Flashed good curveball with 11/5 movement, occasional 12/6 actions.

Scouting Report
Area Code Games Tryout - Stanford commit; one of better 2022 athletes at the tryout with the athletic body type to match, good delivery with high-3/4 slot, fastball with enough to give glimpse of future velocity, curveball best pitch present with BIG 1/7 shape and big hard roll with occasional snappy bite, used change-up well vs left-handed hitters though fastball not as effective vs them; outfield velocity 78-82 mph, good carry with air under his throws, accurate and appears confident in letting it go
