Prep Baseball Nevada: HS Pitcher of the Week (Week 8)

The Prep Baseball Nevada High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best performance for a Nevada High School pitcher from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.
Our Week Eight 'Pitcher of the Week' goes to '25 1B/LHP Mack Edwards (Reno HS) following 6.2 strong innings against Douglas on Saturday as he struck out 11 while allowing just one walk.

'25 1B/LHP Mack Edwards worked 6.2 strong innings on Saturday against Douglas as he carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning and helped Reno clinch the top seed. The UCLA commit racked up 11 punchouts while walking just one, also allowing one run and three hits. Edwards led the Huskies to their third won of the week as they also won games against Carson and Reed. The Reno pitching staff allowed just three runs across the three games while the offense put up 18.
