TELL US MORE...
Tell us about your commitment. Why did you decide on your school?
I knew right away when I got on to their campus. They offer a great education, the coaches tested me incredibly well on my visit and the campus is gorgeous. They're training facilities are really impressive and it's a place that I could see spending years at while improving both athletically and educationally.
The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:
I train 6 days per week during the off season. I combine strength and agility training with light throwing and mobility work to get stronger and more deliberate with my motion and movements.
I run 3 days per week whether it's hill running, sprint workouts or distance.
Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. Who is your biggest influence in the game that has helped you handle the ups and downs?
Shohei Ohtani has been my biggest influence to date because he has taken the role of being the best two-way player in baseball which is what I aspire to be. He carries himself with the utmost class and respect and that is something I always strive to do as well.
Best player you ever shared the field with and why?
The best players I've shared the field with to date would be Hunter and Alex Harrington. They're super committed, always smiling and jovial and are some of the most accountable teammates I've been fortunate to play with. Their skills, flair, athleticism and positive attitude make them both great to play with and be around.
How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?
PBR has always been a standout in youth/h.s baseball and the competition has always been top notch while offering amazing exposure socially and in person.
Most memorable PBR event & why?
My most memorable PBR event was in Lakepoint, GA. I was only 13, but threw 80mph against NC Elite who had multiple Division 1 commits and I pitched my best game up to that day against them and got a W.
