Start Time: 1pm
Location: Sports Zone 481
Status: 90% Full

ROSTER

On Deck Preview

Aaron Johnson SS / 2B / Union Springs, NY / 2025

What to expect:
Consistent defender who can control the barrel. Expect a solid round of line drives. One of the top in game performers over the summer at PBR-Tournaments at the Lumberyard in Cortland, NY.

What we’d like to see: As he naturally matures physically Johnson should develop some "sneaky pop" that will turn him into an extra base threat. Continued arm strength will allow him to stick at shortstop.

Peyton Brzozowy LHP / OF / Johnson City , NY / 2024

What to expect:
The Binghamton area Southpaw will feature a compact delivery with the ability to hide the ball. Fundamental in the OF with a sweeping swing path that covers the plate with occasional pop to the pull side.

What we’d like to see: If continuing to progress as a position player, the footspeed will need to show an uptick to stay in the OF. Upside might be on the mound but the potential to stick at a corner OF spot or 1B over the long term is there. Being a LHP, development of a change up to compliment his big breaking ball will be a difference maker.

RJ Benedetto LHP / OF / Henninger, NY / 2024

What to expect:
Competitor on the bump who will live in the low to mid 80's with more in the tank. Curveball on track to be above average. Low to moderate spin on FB with sink/run. Has shown SL to complement 2S fastball.

What we’d like to see: To find a happy medium between the SL and CB or choose the better of the two. Change up that presents itself in the zone will produce weak contact to RHH as it fades away. An occasional 4-seam to FB to work RHH in will open a new world for Benedetto.

Alumni Accolades

Michael Mancini SS / RHP / Maine-Endwell, NY / 2022

Date Attended:
Feb. 14, 2020 / Preseason: Southern Tier (AKA: Central)

Performance: Manicini displayed the barrel control that we became familiar with over the years while cracking 80 MPH on the bump for the first time with an assortment of 12-6 hammer curveballs.

Recent: Freshman at James Madison University.
