On Deck Preview: Western NY All-Star Games - Middle Infield

September has arrived, which means one thing...our fall events are right around the corner. Our Western New York All-Star Games at Brockport will be held Sunday September 24, 2017, featuring 65 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the middle infielders that will be in attendance and what to expect:

 

Western Ny All-Star Games / Middle INF

 

Noah Campanelli SS / 2B / McQuaid Jesuit, NY / 2019

6-foot-1 156 pound slick fielding shortstop who's offensive game is on the rise. Starting to separate himself from the pack.

 

 

 

 

Kobe Stenson SS / Liverpool, NY / 2020

Ultra-athletic SS at 5-foot-6 132 pounds. Player to watch in the 2020 class.

 

 

 

 

Nick Chemotti SS / OF / West Genesee, NY / 2020

5-foot-9 150 SS with a repeatable line drive stroke; hands work well out in front with a quick release.

 

 

 

 

Cole Laskowski SS / 2B / St. Mary's, NY / 2019

LHH shortstop at 5-foot-6 135 pounds. Good bounce in his step, shows lateral range with a quick release. Compact swing path with balance at the plate.

 

 

 

 

Samuel Velletri SS / Brockport , NY / 2020

5-foot-11 180 pound SS with a flat swing path through the zone. Quick release, low arm slot approach, makes the play on the move.

 

 

 

 

Cade Dick SS / RHP / St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, NY / 2020

5-foot-8 170 pound SS/RHP. Hands work out in front, uses the whole field at the plate. Looking forward to seeing his progress.

 

 

 

 

Ryan Lukas SS / Victor, NY / 2019

Wiry strong 5-foot-9 145 pounds with a quick bat into the zone. Active approach on the ball, up to 80 MPH across the diamond.

 

 

 

 

Trenton Rumley 2B / SS / St Mary's, NY / 2021

5-foot-6 145 pound RHH with with some whip through the zone (83 MPH exit velocity). Makes the play on the move, active feet and a bounce in his step. Player to follow over the long term.

 

 

 

 

D Mitchell Floccare C / 2B / St. Josephs Collegiate Institute, NY / 2020

First time attendee; primarily a catcher but will see time at 2B for this event. 5-foot-9 150 pound RHH.

 

 

 

 

Sean O'Connor SS / 3B / Fayetteville-Manlius, NY / 2019

Long and lean frame at 6-foot-2 165 pounds with and easy effort stroke from the left side. Left side projection, possible 3B candidate as he fills put physically.

 

 

 

 

Drew HerrNeckar 2B / 3B / Hilton , NY / 2019

5-foot-6 145 pound RHH who will be attending for the first time.

 

 

 

 

Chad Gartland SS / RHP / Irondequoit , NY / 2019

6-foot-0 170 pound SS who swings it from the right side. First time attendee.

 

 

 

 

Christopher Goyette RHP / 2B / Medina, NY / 2020

5-foot-8 160 pound left-handed hitting 2B who projects in the 3B/2B mold. Fundamentals over flash.

 

 

 

Jordan Prince SS / 2B / Orchard Park, NY / 2019

First time attendee. 6-foot-1 150 pound RHH who also plays for the Niagara Nationals.
