St. John's University (Queens, NY)
2021 In-State Commits
Adam Agresti C / 1B / Kennedy Catholic, NY / 2023Currently the number 1 ranked player in the New York State 2023 class. The backstop is a solid 6-foot-2, 205LBS and is very well put together for his age. The swing is balanced and fluid, creating easy pop off the bat. Behind the plate, the hip mobility allows for low sink to the ground. Plus arm action. Fluid move from the disconnect from glove all the way to release. Gets on top of baseball to create backspin/carry.

Trevor Dutra 1B / OF / Iona Prep, NY / 2021Rankings StateRank: 57 / POS: 3
Physical 6-foot-1 1B with athletic/strong movements in all aspects of his game. Smooth left handed swing with some pop. Hands get into an elite launch position. High ceiling at the plate. Defensively the left handed 1B worked well around the bag and is able to move side to side well.

Jimmy Keenan C / 1B / Iona Prep, NY / 2022Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 1
Continuing with the Iona Prep pipeline is Jimmy Keenan, a 6-foot-2, 210LBS catcher. The thick, strong build produced a 99MPH exit velocity at the plate. A tall set up with a deliberate early load produces barrel whip through the zone. There is also a lot to like behind the plate. Moves around well in the crouch. Gets right foot in the ground quick on throws to 2B. Good carry on throws. Lots to like.
|
Jake Lanzer LHP / 1B / Newburgh Free Academy, NY / 2022Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 7
6-foot-3 Left Handed Pitcher who runs FB up to 84MPH. Lean build. Quick and aggressive move towards the plate. Quick tempo. Glove and leg lift to chest work in unison. Max effort release.

Mario Pesca RHP / Cardinal Spellman , NY / 2022Rankings StateRank: 38 / POS: 13
6-foot-6 RHP out of the Bronx. There is a lot to like. FB running into the upper 80's with plenty more in the tank. Stays tall as he moves towards the plate. Long arms which release from a 3/4 slot. Already 225LBS with more room to fill out. Expect to see a power arm down the road.
|
Jackson Tucker OF / SS / St. Joseph's by the Sea, NY / 2021Rankings StateRank: 46 / POS: 5
Athlete who maintains connected in all aspects of his game. Expect gains on the already strong frame. Staten Island native. 6.8 60-yard dash time. The RHH has a balanced, short, compact swing that projects well at the collegiate level. High adjustability at the plate. Strong load.

|
Bryce Molinaro SS / RHP / Hazleton Area , PA / 2022Rankings StateRank: 86 / POS: 17
RHP who runs his FB into the upper 80's. The 5-foot-11 Molinaro utilizes a deliberate slow and controlled wind up prior to his drive towards the plate. High intent. CB is a plus pitch with 11-5 shape.
|
Grant Russo C / OF / Hazleton Area, PA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 3
Left handed hitting catcher who is currently 5-foot-10, 165LBS. The swing features a level barrel through the zone, getting on plane early and staying late. Behind the plate has shown a plus exchange time.
|
Adam Shoemaker LHP / 1B / St. Benedict, ON / 2021Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 2
Tall, lanky left handed pitcher out of Ontario, Canada. Shoemaker comes in at 6-foot-6 while running his FB into the high 80's. Brings power from the left side, releasing from a 3/4 arm slot. Very projectable.
|
Impact PBR Alumni
Nicholas Mondak LHP / Watertown HS, CT / 2016Returning as the likely ace of the staff. Opening day starter and Friday guy during the shortened 2020 season. Worked as a starter throughout the past two seasons. Mondak is a 6-foot-4 LHP who runs his FB into the low 90's. Has put up quality/consistent numbers during his time in Queens.
|
Ethan Routzahn RHP / Prairie Ridge, IL / 2016Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 24
RHP coming in at 6-foot-4, 225-pounds. Drops down to a side arm slot, producing heavy run on the FB. The FB has solid depth and has been seen up to 92. The running FB coupled with a sweeping SL makes for a very uncomfortable at bat. Led team in appearances in 2020 with 6, being a guy they relied on out of the pen.
|
Mitchell Henshaw C / SS / Brockport , NY / 2016Rankings StateRank: 132 / POS: 22
The Potomac State JC product is entering his third year with the Red Storm. Was the go to catcher in 2020, starting a majority of the games behind the plate. Simple swing that handles high velocity pitching.
