Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the remainder of the summer I (Dan Cevette) will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering my "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

CEVETTE'S QUICk HIT

CEVETTE's QUICK HIT: Ashby impressed during his round of BP at the NYS Games. Simple approach at the plate, wide base with fast strong hands. Showed a short path with some pull-side power, the bat plays up. Defensively, shows well trained actions to the ball, clean glove work with a strong throwing arm across the diamond with carry. Fun CNY player to keep close eyes on this Fall. Type of player that would shine at the Aug 2020 Games.
