Top Performer Spotlight: 2024 C Christian Alicea (William Floyd)

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Alicea shows a sturdy, thick frame from the young backstop prospect . I really enjoyed watching his BP-round from the Long Island native. He showed balance, a quick back load with a short, fluid swing path to the ball, already showing advanced power for his age. Defensively, he's well trained, shows confidence. Displays a wide base receiving, with a quick clean transfer. His throws were on target with his best pop-time at 2.06 this summer, arm-strength up to 73. The future is very bright for the 2024 prospect from downstate NY, a must follow moving forward.
