With 2021 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best 2022 high school coverage that can be found anywhere. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2022 Spring Team Preview: CVCA Royals

Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/3

2022 Team Strengths:

  • Our line up, top to bottom will be tough. We don't see any easy outs for opposing pitchers.
  • Leadership- I have 2 seniors and a junior that lead in a way that makes others want to follow (servant leadership).
  • Our top 2 arms, if healthy will be tough.

Coach Outlook: "We are excited about the upcoming spring season. We return a core group of our guys from last season, with 7 starters returning. This is a group of guys that prepares well. Our guys have put a ton of work in the off season preparing for the upcoming season. We believe we will once again be battling for a conference championship and believe we have the tools to contend for a district title this year as well. We are truly looking forward to watching how much our guys have developed over the past year. Should be a fun year!!"
