Report: 5-11, 180-pound with an athletic frame. Varies his delivery on the mound well, as you can see in the video. He uses multiple arm slots while also quick pitching at times. Confident arm on the bump. This was the most impressive outing I've seen this year so far from an uncommitted 2021 arm, and it's not close. This is an arm to get on. Definite follow.

Report: 5-10, 165-pound two-way prospect showed well at the plate, going 3-3. Balanced athletic stance at the plate with a smooth controlled load and a leg kick. Flat bat path through the zone. Finds the barrell well. Recently ranked 130th in our updated rankings, keep an eye on this two-way.

Landon Price LHP / 1B / Lincolnview, OH / 2022

Report: The 5-10, 180-pound southpaw is committed to Ohio state as a talented arm, but the left-handed hitter can swin the bat too. He's been mashing on the year and went 3-4 in this game.

Game Performance: 3-4, 3 1B, 3 R, SB

Hunter Sproles RHP / SS / Antwerp, OH / 2022

Report: 6-3, 185-pound with an athletic frame.  Uptempo delivery with regular effort. Chest high leg lift with a drop and drive load. High-3/4 arm slot. Mostly straight fastball on a downward plane. Compliments the fastball with an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with gradual action. Sproles has the arm and body to be a hard thrower with some mechanical corrections in his deliver. Definite follow.

Pitch Repertoire:

• Fastball: 83-85 mph. Heavy fastball.
  
• Curveball: 73-75 mph. 11/5 action.
• Changeup: 76-77 mph. Didn't use in game. Developing pitch.

Luke Krouse LHP / OF / Antwerp, OH / 2022

Report: 6-2, 180-pounds with an athletic frame. Smooth/quick arm action on the bump, which projects in more velo to come. 3/4 arm slot with a repeatable delivery. Good three-pitch mix with the 4-seam, 2-seam, and curveball. The mound is the future for Krouse, but he can certainly swing it as well, with a nice LHH stroke. The Bowling Green State University commit is a definite follow.

Pitch Repertoire:

• Fastball: 83-86 mph, 87T. Showed some good life on the fastball.
• 2-Seam FB:  80-83 mph. Good arm-side run.   
• Curveball: 70-74 mph. 1/7 shape with sharp break and good action. It was on today.
  
• Changeup: 74-76 mph. Didn't use much in game, but showed in warmups. A developing pitch that could only add more to his already good arsenal.

Game Performance: 1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

Samuel Battles C / 3B / Norwalk, OH / 2022

Report: 5-10, 170-pound with an athletic frame. At the plate, uses athletic stance with a smooth load and short stride. Bat speed is above average, with a flat swing plane. Defensively, Battles is one of the top two catchers I have seen this spring so far. Very quick exchange with an above average arm. Controls the running game well, throwing behind runers with accuracy. Managed the pitching staff well, trying to compose them after consecutive bad pitches. Frames well also. Very good catching prospect.

Report: 5-11, 175-pounds with athletic frame. Balanced swing from the right side. Up and down load with a slightly downhill path to contact. Rotational sequence. Line drive approach with gap to gap ability. Shows some tools behind the dish. Physical presence with athleticism to his actions. Catch/throw skills appear to be on par for class.
