Hit: Athletic motions in the box. Generates lower half momentum through a leg kick. Hands tend to drop sometimes too far during loading sequence. Level bat path through the zone creating natural loft.
Power: Gap to gap power. More juice should follow as he fills out.

Field: Clean defensively. Pure athleticism shows in the field. Average glove skills with quick, soft hands.
Throw: Loose arm through a ¾ slot. More to come as he fills out. Needs a few more mph’s to stay on the left side of the infield at the next level.

Body Type: 6-foot, 175-pound physical frame for class.
Swing Mechanics: Athletic loading sequence incorporating a leg kick to lower half as barrel flows to a vertical launch.
Hit: Bat is top tool and for good reason as he is one of the more explosive bats in his class. Lefty swinger with obvious hand speed to and strength through. Barrel naturally whips through the zone with authority through contact. Impressive jump for class. High upside bat.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity. Easy gap with emerging power.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Run: 7.04 60-yard dash.
Field: Average skill set across the board with above average athleticism. Not a flashy defender but
looks to be sure-handed. Time will tell where ends up.
Throw: 74 mph arm strength across the infield.
Defensive Projection: TBD.

One of the highest ceilings, hit tool wise in his class.  A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Fluid load into a balanced launch. Nice, level path with obvious natural tools through the zone. Handsy hitter with a ton of whip in authority through the zone. Impressive jump for class with present pull side power. In the infield he plays under control throughout sequence. Second/third baseman type. Although skill set in solid in the infield with his athleticism and hit tool a move to the outfield wouldn’t be out of the equation either.

Coach Kaczmar from Walsh is very high on this kid and it’s easy to see why. Swings it from the left side and is one of the more dynamic bats we’ve come across the in state’s 21 class. Swing has natural loft with advanced natural tools through the zone. Ball looks different off his bat than the typical ‘21. Turns on the ball with authority and has the present ability to leave the park. A bit of a tweener defensively but athletic enough to grow at whichever spot he ends up at. With his advanced hit tool he will be a high follow for colleges over the next few years.

Bat is as explosive as any prospect we’ve come across in his class. Swing is unique from the left side but doesn’t hinder his natural tools from showing. As impressive as his tools was his feel for the barrel, consistently diving the ball to either gap with regular backspin. Recorded an event high 93 mph exit velocity. Has room to improve footwork in the infield but glove plays as an above average tool for class. Lived up to his billing as the No. 10 prospect in the state’s 2021 class. Two-way prospect. 6-foot, 165 pound two-way athlete throws from a ¾ arm slot and provides an even flowing tempo throughout his motion. Pettorini’s fastball topped out at 78 mph while sitting 74-77 with slight arm side run to it and effective command. SL was 64-67 with good run to it and strong locating ability. His changeup was thrown very well at 69-71 with good downward but can speed up arm to create more movement and deception. Pettorini’s taller build and natural strength leads to good potential as he continues to develop.

A left-handed bat that starts in a  balanced setup. Goes with a double tap load for rhythm and timing. Barrel gets almost vertical prior to launch. Swing is compact with definite barrel whip through the zone. Natural tools are advanced for his class. Ball comes off his bat well, especially to pull side. A talented young bat to follow. In the infield, he fields deeper into the body. Plays through the ball well glove side. Glove skills are there. Transfers are quick and clean. Releases the ball from a 3/4 arm slot with average arm strength.
