With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Cincinnati Country Day Indians
Team Name: Cincinnati Country Day Indians
Head Coach: Tim Dunn | Asif Shah
Division: III
2017 Record: 21-7
Conference Record: Miami Valley Conference, 12-1, 1st
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/3
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “Very exciting season. We lost 2 senior starters but we have a new player to the team. The players are determine to get back to regionals and win. We lost our starting catcher but one of the players on the team stepped up to the challenge and decided he wanted to be the best catcher he can be. We have a lot of senior leadership from the guys on the team.”
PBR Outlook: A big season could be ahead for the Indians and co-head coaches Tim Dunn and Asif Shah. With a strong senior class, including TJ Brock and Trey Smith, look out for the Indians come tournament time.
