2022 Spring Team Preview: Purcell Marian Cavaliers

Coach Outlook: "This should a good year for Purcell Marian. We went 15-11 last year, the first winning record in 18 years. We've changed the culture and the boys have really bought in. We moved to the Miami Valley Conference and the competition will be just as difficult if not more. We have strong senior leadership which should help with team chemistry. Our goals are always to win our league and compete for state titles. As a team last year, we batted .310 as a team and stole 135 bases and were only thrown out 10 times. Speed and defense will be two of our strengths this year. We had a team ERA of 3.42. Our pitchers struck out 181 players with only 84 BB."
