With 2022 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2023. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2023 Spring Team Preview: Wynford Royals

Team Name: Wynford Royals
Head Coach: Tom Smith
Division: III
2022 Record: 20-6
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/2

Coach Outlook: "We have the potential to make this a memorable season. Repeating as league champs will be a challenge since last year's 2nd place returned 9 starters, but if we plug a few openings a repeat is in the cards. We lost a close game in the tournament last season to the state runner-up, and we expect to challenge for the district championship again this year. We have six returning starters who all hit over .300 last season along with our top 2 pitchers. It should be a fun season."
