OK Fall Top Prospect Games: Outfielder Analysis

PBR OK hosted the fourth annual OK Fall Top Prospect Games at beautiful Central Oklahoma. Over 65 invite-only players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff, 6 colleges and two pro scouts. The talented event saw five sub 7.00 60s, 6 90+ exit velos, 14 infield velos of 80+, four outfield velos of 85+, six sub 2.00 second pop times, and five max fastballs at 85 mph. Players profiles have already been updated with stats and pictures with reports and video to be updated in the weeks to come. The number below do not represent a players all-time best, only what they achieved at this event. Today, we check out the 10 outfielders from the event.

Michael Adair OF / Fort Gibson, OK / 2020The 6-foot-1, 195-pound primary outfielder showcased a physical frame with present athleticism in all facets of the game. The left-handed hitter begins from an even, crouched stance with the barrel pointed towards the pitcher using a quick lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Upon load, rocks back into a strong lower half generating advanced barrel whip through a slightly uphill path in the zone. Demonstrated strong wrists and the ability to punish baseballs to the pull-side when on time evidenced by an 89 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.01 60-yard dash and registered an accurate 82 mph arm-strength from the outfield utilizing a strong lower half, solid footwork, and a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot. |
Spencer Boles OF / 2B / Choctaw, OK / 2022The 5-foot-11, 185-pound primary outfielder showcased a physical frame with present athleticism. The right-handed hitter begins from a square stance utilizing a controlled leg-lift to initiate his swing. Generated easy bat-speed with regularity using a strong lower-half and hand separation, creating a slightly uphill barrel path through the baseball. Displayed advanced barrel awareness yielding an impressive 94 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.08 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder demonstrated advanced feel during defensive evaluations while arriving to the ball on time. Registered accurate 86 mph arm-strength from the outfield out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot with a long takeaway. The middle infielder flashed solid footwork while creating momentum towards his target allowing for an accurate 80 mph arm-strength across the diamond. |
Alex Bynum OF / RHP / Union , OK / 2020Primary outfielder demonstrated a stocky 6-foot, 165-pound frame with adequate athleticism. The left-handed hitter begins with a wide, slightly open stance utilizing a quick leg-lift to initiate his swing. Demonstrated feel for his hands and the middle of the field during batting practice while generating a flat barrel path into the zone. Registered an 82 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee and recorded a 7.06 60-yard dash. Showcased solid footwork in the outfield, consistently arriving to the ball on time and taking advantageous routes to yield accurate 81 mph throws from his position out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot. |
Ty Chaddrick OF / LHP / Tuttle, OK / 2022Demonstrated a lean 5-foot-8, 130-pound frame with present athleticism that will fill out as he matures. The left-handed hitter begins from a balanced, even stance utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel-path into the zone creating a line drive approach while hitting into a stiff front-side. Registered a 72 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee and recorded a 7.27 60-yard dash. Displayed solid footwork during defensive evaluations creating advantageous routes to the ball while notching accurate 74 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a long takeaway. Additional velocity will be seen as he fills out his current lean frame. |
Caiden Henderson RHP / OF / Sapulpa, OK / 2020The primary right-handed pitcher displayed a lean 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance with hands at the ear utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. High hands generated a flat barrel path into the zone creating a line drive approach while hitting into a stiff front side. Registered a 78 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee and ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. The outfielder showcased adequate footwork while arriving to the ball on time. Kasen LeGrand OF / 3B / Canute, OK / 2023The 5-foot-10, 217-pound primary outfielder displayed a filled out frame with physicality and feel for his body. Generated advanced bat speed in the zone with barrel whip through a slightly uphill path allowing for pull side carry and present pop. Garrett McDown RHP / OF / Westmoore High School, OK / 2021Displayed a lean 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with projectability and athleticism .The right-handed hitter begins with an even stance utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated a line drive approach during batting practice with a repeatable swing. Hit into a stiff front side while registering a 77 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.19 60-yard dash. The outfielder showcased active footwork arriving to the ball on time with regularity while notching accurate 77 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a hitch in the back. |
