The third annual Preseason All-State Showcase was held at The Grind sports facility in Oklahoma City, OK on Sunday, February 3rd. This one day event featured a completely sold out event of 100 prospects in the 2019-2022 classes from around the state showcasing their skills in front of PBR staff. 

This talented event saw impressive numbers in every category, including 16 sub seven second 60s, eight 90+ exit velos, 10 arms that were 85+ across the infield (top 92), nine arms that were 85+ from the outfield (top 91), four sub two second pop times, and 10 pitchers that were 85+ (top 93)

Parker Casselberry RHP / 1B / Jenks, OK / 2021

A  6-foot,175-pound durable frame with long limbs. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action has length in the back before coming through an over the top slot, staying behind the baseball with some stiffness. Fastball has downhill tilt at 74-77  mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with gradual depth flashing some late depth at times at 65-66 mph, some strikes. Changeup keeps its plane at 71-72 mph mostly strikes. 


Zade Cisneros SS / RHP / Clinton, OK / 2021

A  6-foot-2,170-pound high waisted lean and athletic frame with room to add more size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high leg kick slightly coiling at the top before striding down the mound and finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action gets long and extended behind him before pulling through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 83-85 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape flashing some late depth and tight spin at 65-66 mph, some strikes. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed and shows late fade at 73-74 mph, almost all strikes. Splitter has consistent tumbling depth at the bottom of the zone, best as a chase pitch at 75-76 mph, some strikes. 


Chance Condit C / RHP / Salina, OK / 2021

A  6-foot-2, 220-pound advanced and durable frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from only from the stretch with a slightly up tempo delivery and a high and athletic leg kick before striding down the mound with quality late leg drive, finishing balanced. Arm action is long, fluid, and loose in the back, getting high early before coming through a near over the top slot. Fastball sits 81-83, touching 84 mph with downhill tilt, mostly strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with gradual break at 65-66 mph. Changeup shows soft fade at 67-68 mph, some strikes. Split finger shows heavy changeup like fade, some strikes. 


Jackson Jobe SS / RHP / Heritage Hall, OK / 2021

A  6-foot-2, 180-pound lean and athletic frame with room to add more size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a high leg kick and some coil at the top before striding down the mound with excellent leg drive and finishing in line with the dish. Arm action is clean, loose, fluid, and fast in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 84-86, touching 87 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball is advanced and shows consistent 11/5 shape with tight spin and late depth at 75-76 mph in the bottom of the strike zone. Changeup shows some fade at 75-76 mph, mostly strikes. 


Landon Lee OF / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2022

A  proportional 6-foot, 165-pound frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an up tempo delivery with rhythm and a moderate leg kick before finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action has moderate length with stiffness in the back and a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before catapulting through an over the top slot. Fastball  keeps its plane at 71-74 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with gradual depth at 63-64 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows excellent sink thrown with full arm speed at 67-68 mph, nearly all strikes. 


Jesse Lopez RHP / Piedmont, OK / 2021

A  6-foot-1, 160-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a slight pause at the top of his high coiling leg kick before striding long down the mound and finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long and loose in the back before coming through a ¾ slot with some whippyness. Fastball ranges 79-83 mph with occasional arm side run and some strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape and gradual depth at 70-71 mph, some strikes. Slider has short 10/4 shape and cutter type action at 71-72 mph, some strikes. Splitter shows consistent depth, thrown mostly as a chase pitch at 69-70 mph. 


Logan Lunceford 2B / RHP / Shawnee, OK / 2022

A  5-foot-10, 135-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and a high leg kick before driving down the mound and finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action is long and loose in the back after dropping straight down of his glove before circling through a near over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 77-79 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball has 12/6 shape with gradual and big break at 62-63 mph, nearly all strikes. Changeup is advanced, thrown with fastball arm speed and showing heavy and late fade at 67-69 mph, all strikes.


Morgan Lunceford RHP / 3B / Shawnee , OK / 2021

A  5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm an a moderate leg kick before gliding to the dish and spinning off to the first base side. Arm action is moderate and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed.and some effort. Fastball shows occasional arm side run at 85-87 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball has near 12/6 shape flashing tight spin and late depth at 74-75 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 80-81 mph, nearly all strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with tight spin, flashing plus at times at 75-81 mph, some strikes.


Jonah Mahen SS / RHP / Crossing Christian, OK / 2021

A  5-foot-9, 160-pound lean frame with quick twitch actions and lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and average tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick before striding down the mound and finishing spinning off to the first base side. Arm action is long in the back with some stiffness before coming through a high-¾ slot cleanly with some arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 80-83 mph, some strikes. Curveball has short and gradual depth with 11/5 shape at 66-69 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows consistent fade at 69-70 mph some strikes. 


Gunner Phillips RHP / OF / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2021

A  6-foot, 156-pound lean and long frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high up, down, and out leg kick with a slight hitch before striding down the mound and finishing towards the dish. Arm action is very short in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball flashes occasional arm side run at 73-75 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball has 12/6 shape and some late depth, thrown mostly as a chase pitch at 63-64 mph. Knuckleball show some dance and diving action at 61-62 mph mostly strikes. 


Gray Thomas RHP / 3B / Heritage Hall, OK / 2021

A 6-foot-4, 190-pound long frame with some strength and room to add more. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a high leg kick and hip load before striding down the mound with quality leg drive and finishing to the first base side with recoil. Arm action is long fluid and quick in the back before coming through a low-¾ slot with elite arm speed. Fastball shows consistent and late arm side run at 90-92 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows heavy and late fade at 82-84 mph, some strikes. Slider shows multiple shapes with late depth mostly 10/4 at 78-79 mph, some strikes.


Eric Thompson OF / RHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2022

A  6-foot-1, 165-pound long and lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a controlled tempo delivery and a high leg kick before gliding to the dish and finishing balanced. Arm action is clean, fluid, and controlled in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 76-79 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows rolling 12/6 action at 64-65 mph, some strikes. Changeup keeps its plane at 70-72 mph, mostly strikes. 


Kenyon Tollison RHP / C / Bridgecreek, OK / 2021

A  developing 5-foot-9, 125-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive and finishing to the first base side. Fastball keeps its plane at 67-69 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with gradual depth at 56-57 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 60-61 mph, mostly strikes


Tucker Whitekiller 3B / RHP / Collinsville, OK / 2021

A  6-foot, 150-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and slightly up tempo delivery with a high leg kick and abbreviated stride gliding down the mound, finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action is long and controlled extending straight back before coming through a near over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 74-75 mph, almost all strikes. Curveball has 11/5 rolling shape at 65-66 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows excellent fade thrown with full arm speed at 68-69 mph, mostly strikes.


Kaden Wright OF / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2022

A  5-foot-10, 156-pound lean frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a controlled and old school delivery rocking his hands over his head before using an up, down, and out leg kid before gliding down the mound and finishing towards the dish. Arm action is long, clean, and fluid in the back before coming through a near over the top slot with advanced arm speed for his age. Fastball keeps its plane at 80-83 mph, some strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with some depth at 73-74 mph, some strikes. Changeup keeps its plane at 78-79 mph. Slider shows tight cutter type action at 77-78 mph.
