Bethany vs Sulpher

Grayson Adams, OF/LHP, 2021, Bethany
The 6-foot-2, 165-pound lean athlete has some wiry strength and room to add more. One of the top uncommitted seniors in the state, Adams has had a big offensive showing for Bethany this spring out of the four-hole. The left-hander shows a clean a fluid swing with a knack for finding barrels and bat speed with some barrel strength.

Peyton Tolle, OF/LHP, Bethany
One of the most physically impressive frames in the country, Tolle stands a muscular 6-foot-7, 230-pounds. On the mound, the left-hander is an elite strike thrower with both the fore-seam and the two-seam at 85-89 T91 mph. The curveball shows late 1/7 shape with swing and miss depth when thrown to the glove side. Offensively, the left-handed hitter shows power to all fields and the ability to stay back on off speed. When the Wichita State commits gets the barrel out front, he has as much pop as any player in the state.

Cascia Hall vs Metro Christian

Cooper Mullen, RHP, 2021, Cascia Hall

The uncommitted Senior had a big outing against Metro Christian Monday night working 5 innings and picking up 11 punchouts and only allowing one unearned run.  The right hander pounds the glove side with the fastball that works in the mid 80’s and showed a very interesting cutting action slider with late action and depth in the 79-81 range.  Mullen can easily fit into multiple roles in a pitching staff at the next level.

Dempsey Gillman, C, 2022, Metro Christian

The Junior showed off his quick hands and strength at the plate Monday night against Cascia hall.  He likes to sit on the back leg and rotate hard with a balanced rotational swing.  Also did a good job of receiving and blocking behind the plate.

Jenks vs Berryhill

Brooks Fowler, SS/RHP, 2021, Jenks

The Senior ORU commit worked a complete game shutout Tuesday night against Berryhill while only allowing 4 hits and had no walks to 9 strikeouts.  The fastball sat in the upper 80’s the entire game and showed good command of a mid 70’s slider and low 80’s changeup.  Fowler has shown himself to be a true frontline ace that the Trojans will be counting on this week in Regional play.

Chandler Fowler, INF, 2023, Jenks

When the older brother takes the mound Chandler slides into the shortstop position and shows the ability to handle the middle of the field very well with good actions and a soft glove.  At the plate the Sophomore has a short and compact swing with a level bat path that he uses to drive the ball line to line.  Very interesting prospect as he gains some strength and experience over the next couple of years.

Rhylan Wright, OF, 2022, Jenks

The Junior outfielder delivered the big blow for the Trojans Tuesday night with a big two out two RBI double in the 5th that would be all Jenks’ needed to secure the win.  The leadoff man has a short and compact stroke with hands working hard inside the ball for an inside-out approach.

Lincoln Christian vs Pocola

Chase Hudson, INF/RHP, 2021, Lincoln Christian

The Senior Connors State commit controlled the game on both sides of the ball on Thursday in their Bi-District game against Pocola.  On the mound worked a complete 6 inning shutout  while only allowing 2 hits and picking up 8 strikeouts.  He also hits out of the two hole position where the left handed swing shows good rhythm and strong hands.  He has really good rhythm at the plate and can really control the barrel in the zone.

Tyler Johnson, 1B, 2023, Lincoln Christian

The Sophomore first baseman had a big afternoon at the plate for the Bulldogs picking up 4 RBI in the double header sweep of Pocola.  Johnson has a strong frame with a thick lower half and does a good job of staying behind the ball well with the swing and shows some strength at contact.

Max Brown, INF/C, 2022, Lincoln Christian

The Junior lead off man finished off the double header going 3-6 with a double and swiped 5 stolen bases along the way.  At the plate, Brown uses an old-school style approach with the foot getting down very early and allowing his bat speed and quick hands to carry the swing.  He battles at the plate and shows the ability to fight off tough pitches especially with two strikes.  Defensively he shows good actions working around the ball and shows good arm strength making a couple of plays deep into the 6 hole.

Luke Williams, LHP/OF, 2024, Lincoln Christian

In a day when everything was going the Bulldog’s way, no one had as big of an afternoon in the double header sweep than Freshman Luke Williams.  At the plate he finished the day going 5-6 and took the mound in game two working a complete game shutout with 10 punchouts.  The fastball sat in the mid 80’s and showed a very tight spinning curveball at times in the lower 70’s.  When he is on the attack, the fastball can play up at a high level as a true swing and miss pitch.  Very athletic arm with more room in the tank as he gets stronger.

Kellyville vs Blackwell

Logan Volner, C, 2022, Kellyville

The Junior catcher had a big afternoon in Kellyville’s double header sweep against Blackwell in their Bi-District matchup.  In the first game Volner finished with a perfect 3-3 with a double, homer, and 6 RBI.  He has a loose swing with a strong lower half driving through to the front side and shows some real strength at contact.

Conner Smith, OF, 2021, Kellyville

The Senior outfielder and Lyon college commit had a big afternoon on Friday finishing off the day going 3-5 with a triple and 2 RBI.  Smith has a smooth left handed stroke with good bat control and level bat path.

Colton Ayres, INF, 2021, Kellyville

The Senior infielder and Rose State commit finished off the double header going 3-5 with a triple and two stolen bases.  He has a quick rotational swing with some strength at contact and shows smooth defensive actions in the middle of the field.  Ayres is a good runner and will make for a good top of the order type bat at the next level with his good eye at the plate and short barrel-controlled swing.

Edison vs Porter

Brandon Welch, LHP/INF/OF, 2022, Porter

The Junior continued his big season on Saturday afternoon with a two RBI double against Edison.  He has a short swing with good rhythm and good bat speed.  Currently on the season he is hitting .467 with 11 doubles, an eye-popping 10 homers, and nearly twice as many walks as strikeouts.
