PBR OK hosted the third annual OK Summer Open at Central Oklahoma University. Nearly 75 players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff and multiple colleges.

Nicholas Allison OF / Jenks, OK / 2020Displayed a 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic frame. Offensively, the left-handed hitter starts with his knees slightly bent and most of his weight on his backside. Has some pre-swing hand rhythm and initiates swing with a toe-tap load. Hands are set back creating an arm bar, pulling the bat uphill through the zone with some bat speed. In BP, worked all parts of the field with some lift, registering an 81 mph exit velo. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Defensively, the outfielder showed adequate footwork using his momentum to get behind his throws. Some effort in high ¾ arm slot yielding accurate throws at 76 mph. |
Gage Arthur OF / RHP / Tulsa Union , OK / 2023A developing 5-foot-9, 140-pound lean, athletic frame. From the right side, starts slightly open in an athletic crouch. Initiates swing with leg kick, moderately turning his front leg inward to get some back-hip coil. Flat bat path that creates a line-drive swing with an 83 mph exit velocity. Worked mid/pull approach in BP with consistent barrels. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Defensively, displayed adequate footwork and soft hands throwing from an over-the-top arm slot showing developing accuracy on throws at 74 mph. |
Bode Brooks RHP / OF / Tuttle, OK / 2021The 5-foot-10, 185-pound showed raw strength and athleticism in his frame. The left-handed hitter starts upright, slightly open with a high handset in front of the plate. Starts his swing with a short lift-and-replace stride bringing his hands back to a moderate arm bar. Sometimes will close himself off upon landing with front foot. Downhill bat path that is able to create decent backspin and line drives, registering an 83 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. In the outfield, showed athletic actions and active footwork, throwing from a high ¾ arm slot. Showcased a strong arm with good accuracy and carry on throws registering at 92 mph. |
Caleb Chapman OF / RHP / Meeker, OK / 2021Displayed an athletic 6-foot, 160-pound lean frame with room for added strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts in a balanced, squared stance. Starts swing using a small toe-tap, getting a good weight transfer to his backside. Flat, line-drive swing with mid/pull approach during BP. Showcased some bat speed with an 84 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder moves with adequate footwork and has a long, easy arm action from a over-the-top arm slot. Some accuracy on throws registering at 79 mph from the outfield. |
Gaven Delmas RHP / OF / Heritage Hall, OK / 2024Featured an athletic, lean 5-foot-9, 135-pound with room to add on as he matures. The RH hitter, starts with a balanced, wide base and quiet actions. Uses a small toe tap to shift his weight to his backside, dropping his hands for a flatter bat path through the zone. Mainly a mid/pull approach with consistent barrels during BP, registering an exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. In the outfield, showcased good footwork and transfers for a repeatable movements. Throws from a high ¾ arm-slot with some push on his throws at 70 mph. |
Christian Duncan RHP / OF / Poteau, OK / 2020A proportional 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. The right-handed hitter starts open with a slight knee-knock. Initiates swing with leg kick and stride while maintaining rhythm in his hands. Slightly drops his hands for a flat bat path with some lift and pop, consistently barreling balls to the gaps during his round of BP. Keeps his weight back and gets good extension through his swing. Shows bat speed and barrel strength with a 92 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Pose in the outfield, showing above average actions with good feet and soft hands. Long, loose high-¾ slot that produces above average accuracy on throws at 87 mph. |
Cameron Duncan OF / RHP / Poteau, OK / 2020A lean, projectable 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with athleticism and room for added strength.The right-handed hitter starts slightly open with a small knee-knock and a wide, athletic base. Uses a small leg lift, short stride, and arm-bar load to initiate swing creating a flat bat path through the zone. Gets good barrel whip and extension, registering an 80 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Defensively, showcases good footwork and soft hands. Uses his momentum to get behind the ball with athletic actions. Comes from an over-the-top arm slot yielding accurate throws to the bag at 76 mph. |
Gavin Haines OF / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2021
Showcased an athletic, lean 6-foot, 170-pound frame with present strength and additional room to fill out. The left-handed hitter starts with his weight on his backside in an upright, open stance. Begins swing with a lift-and-replace stride, getting good bat tilt and uphill launch angle that produced gap-to-gap power and consistent barrels during BP. Fast, fluid hips that help drive through the zone, creating bat speed and barrel-whip with an 84 mph exit-velocity. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Defensively, the outfielder shows confident, clean actions using his momentum well behind his throws. Recorded accurate 85 mph throws from a repeatable ¾ arm-slot. |
Grayson Hall OF / SS / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2021Displayed a proportional 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. Offensively, starts in an upright, open stance. Initiates swing with a short stride, dropping hands creating a flat bat path and line-drive swing with bat speed through the zone, registering an 87 mph exit velocity. Consistent barrels during BP, working the middle of the field. Ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder shows clean actions with adequate footwork. Throws with a loose arm action from a high ¾ arm-slot at 76 mph. In the infield, shows active feet and soft hands. Has fast exchanges and a quick release, throwing with a shorter arm stroke from a low ¾ slot at 69 mph. |
Ty Hammack OF / 2B / Deer Creek, OK / 2021Displayed a solid 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. Offensively, starts in an open stance with rhythm in his hands. Initiates swing using a leg-lift load and medium stride, getting his bat on an uphill, line-drive/fly-ball swing plane. Showcased bat speed and barrel whip with a 90 mph exit velocity. Mid/pull approach, consistently barreling balls during BP, with gap to gap power. Ran an impressive 6.63 60-yard dash. Defensively, the outfielder throws from a high ¾ arm angle and utilized active footwork yielding throws of 85 mph from his position. Plays through the ball well, using his momentum and a strong lower half to make throws with above average accuracy and carry. |
Ben Harris OF / 2B / Carl Albert, OK / 2021Displayed a physical 6-foot-2, 202-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. The right-handed hitter starts with a wide base and hands set at his chest. Starts his swing with a small lift-and-replace load, shifting his weight to his backside while bringing his hands to a launch position. Slight uphill bat path, with bat speed and some lift registering an 87 mph exit velocity. Mostly barrels during BP, hitting line-drives to the mid/pull side. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Defensively, has above average actions, utilizing quick feet and soft hands in the outfield. Throws from a moderate and quick arm-stroke from a high ¾ angle, yielding above average accuracy at 81 mph. |
Cameron Hicks OF / 2B / Bristow, OK / 2020Featured a proportional 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame. The right-handed hitter begins with an even setup with his weight slightly shaded toward his backside. A repeatable toe-tap stride was used to initiate a slight downhill swing that generated line-drives with decent backspin. Has a tendency to sometimes pull off the ball, finishing with one hand. Showed good bat speed with an 84 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showed good footwork, attacking the ball with timing and a big crow-hop. Displayed good accuracy on throws at 68 mph from his position. |
Hayden Key LHP / OF / Epic Charter School, OK / 2020Displayed a lean 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with present athleticism and plenty of room to add size and strength. The left-handed hitter starts with an upright, slightly open stance and rhythm in his hands. Initiates his swing with a small leg-lift load and short stride before launching hands on flat, line-drive bat path. In BP, mostly barrels consisting of line-drives and fly-balls with flashes of power to mid/pull side, registering an 84 mph exit velocity. Ran an impressive 6.59 60-yard dash. In the outfield, shows above average actions, with advanced hands and footwork. Confidence behind his throws using a long, high-¾ arm slot producing accurate throws to the bag at 88 mph. |
Austin Neal RHP / OF / Verdigris, OK / 2020Displayed a lean, projectable 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts in an upright, slightly open stance with rhythm in hands. Uses a small knee-knock load and long stride to initiate his swing. Flat, line-drive bat path with consistent barrels to all fields during BP, getting good extension through the ball. 84 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. In the infield, shows above average hands with deliberate, clean footwork with confident actions. Has a loose, whippy ¾ arm slot yielding accurate throws at 83 mph. In the outfield, has fluid actions with soft hands and clean transfers. Uses his lower half well to generate accurate 86 mph throws from a long, fast arm stroke. Should see an uptick in velo numbers with added weight and strength.

Kellen Pokoski RHP / OF / Owasso, OK / 2020Showcased present strength and athleticism with a projectable 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame and room for added strength. The right-handed hitter starts from an open and upright stance using a moderate knee-knock load and long stride to initiate a flat bat path through the zone. Utilizes his long lower-half to generate power, getting great extension through the zone. Consistent barrels in his round of BP, mainly a mid/pull approach and showcased power to the gaps. Shows bat speed with an 88 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. In the outfield, shows above average actions, with soft hands and good transfers. Longer arm stroke from an over the top slot that yielded 83 mph throws with above average accuracy. |
