HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS

OTHERS TO WATCH: RHP Kohl Franklin (Broken Arrow HS, OK) stands at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds with a lean frame and some strength throughout. He pitches with an average tempo and long arm action in the back, coming through a high-3/4 slot. His four-seam fastball has slight downhill tilt at 89-91, touching 92-93. His two-seamer has some arm-side run at 89-90. The changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed and has late fade at 80-82. The slider has slurve shape with some depth and late action when at the bottom of the zone or below. It sits at 75-78. He its committed to Oklahoma. SS/RHP Javier Ramos (Vian HS, OK), a Missouri State recruit, is physically impressive at 6-foot-6, 190 pounds. He hits from a quiet, knock-kneed stance and uses a smooth, rocking load before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with a high finish. In BP, he shows a middle to pull gap approach with occasional lift and flashes some pop. He runs a 4.42 down the line. Defensively, he has a strong arm across the diamond. He may project best at third base, especially if he continues to fill out his frame. On the mound, he has rhythm and average tempo in his delivery. The arm drops straight down out of the break and then circles with some length before coming through a high-3/4 slot with arm speed. The fastball sits 90-91, touching 92. The slider shows 10/4 shape with some depth at 77-79. The changeup remains in development, flashing arm-side run at 79-80. RHP Wyatt Olds (McLoud HS, OK) has a lean and slender frame at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. The Oklahoma recruit works with an average tempo with athleticism in his delivery. He coils at the top of his leg lift before striding to the dish. The arm action is long and behind him before coming through a sidearm slot with whip. The fastball sat 90-92 with late and heavy arm-side run and some sink. The slide shows short 10/4 break with some depth. The changeup sits 85-86 with some fade. He filled the strike zone with all three pitches with consistency, showing his command is developing quickly. SS Mack Chambers (Broken Arrow HS, OK), a Seminole State JC recruit, has a lean frame with wiry strength at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds. Offensively, the competent switch-hitter shows best from the left side where he has more pop. He hits with a slightly knock-kneed stance and is heavy on his back leg in his set-up. He uses a slight leg lift load before launching his hands on an uphill path with a high finish. In BP, he shows surprising pop with a gap-to-gap approach from the left side while being more middle to opposite field and flat from the right. Defensively, he shows bouncy and athletic actions with advanced hands and clean footwork.
