Tell us about your commitment. Why did you decide on your school? 

I am committed to Youngstown State University. My first visit there was for a camp. I really liked the coaching staff and involvement and interaction of the current players in the camp. When I went back a second time for a visit I got to know the coaches more, toured the campus and it really felt like home. The facilities, stadium, and dorms are all what I was looking for and they have a great sports broadcasting program.


The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:

Lifting 3x week
Explosive speed training 3x week
Plyo workout 2x week
Hitting 5x week with coach
Catching 2x week with coach
VR training daily


Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. Who is your biggest influence in the game that has helped you handle the ups and downs?

I lean on my faith most when I’m faced with adversity and failure. I broke my hand sliding into 3rd last year and I was out of the game for 7 weeks. Staying focused on healing and being able to get back out there without getting down on myself wasn’t easy. I was missing games and losing the gains that I had worked so hard for. My faith grew stronger and I was able to make it through.


Best player you ever shared the field with and why? 

Benny Montgomery - high school opponent. Playing against a high level player that ended up being top 10 draft pick.


How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?

I’ve always had a good experience with PBR. Stats and feedback on performance is quickly available. Good caliber players, opportunity for exposure and to see how you stack up against others.

Most memorable PBR event & why?

2021 PA State Games - playing with and against some of the best players in PA. I left the event confident in where I stood in the state.

The ultimate long term goal is what?

It's always been my goal to play in the MLB.
