Aaron GrollerJust under two weeks remain until PBR Pennsylvania's Elite Prospect Showcase on October 29th at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim. Today, we continue a series of previews on prospects who will be in attendance, as we highlight Souderton Area 2019 LHP Aaron Groller.

Groller is a lean 6-foot, 150-pounder that pitches out of a low three-quarter slot with some hook in his arm action. He stays on-line well to the plate and features a fastball at 78-79 along with a low-70s slider with late darting action. Groller impressed as a member of the Indian Valley Storm at the PA Travel Baseball Championships in August.

The sophomore again showed intriguing upside at the Eastern PA Fall Review in September. Groller holds his hands high during his wind-up and lowers them to his waist to separate into an arm swing that leads to a low three-quarter slot. He displayed a very solid fastball/slider combo that comes out of the same window. Groller's fastball sat 77-80 with baby tail, while the slider, which he showed an ability to backfoot to right-handed hitters, clocked in at 69-70. He would benefit from maintaining armspeed on his change-up at 73-74, but it exhibits the potential to be a solid third pitch for him.
