Warren 10, Slippery Rock 0

2021 1B/RHP Ben Berdine tossed six innings of scoreless, one hit baseball and the Warren offense racked up 14 hits in a run shortened victory over Slippery Rock on Saturday.

The first five hitters in the Dragons' offense combined to go 10 hits, seven RBI and five runs scored. Lance Baldensperger (2-for-4, R, 2 RBI), Austyn Cummings (2-for-4, 2 R, RBI), Mitch Grosch (2-for-3, R, RBI), Aidan Morrison (2-for-4, 3B, 2 RBI) and Micah Passmore (2-for-2, R, RBI) did the bulk of the damage while Ryan Arnold chipped in with a 3-for-3 day that included an RBI and two runs scored out of the nine hole.

Berdine needed just 78 pitches. The sophomore walked just one and struck out six. Warren moved to 4-2 on the season while Slippery Rock fell to 5-2.
