Franklin Regional 6, Penn Hills 0

2019 PBR Future Games Team Pennsylvania participant Andrew Muraco spun a complete game shutout while allowing just four hits in leading Franklin Regional to a 6-0 win over Penn Hills on Tuesday.

The SS/RHP, currently ranked No. 23 in the PA Class of 2021, walked one and recorded 13 strikeouts throwing 19 first pitch strikes to the 25 batters that he faced.

Franklin Regional got one hit from eight different hitters in the lineup including doubles from Tommy Kegerreis, Michael Klingensmith and Thomas Nicely.

2020 2B/RHP Cole Yeager went 2-for-3 to lead the Penn Hills offense.

Franklin Regional improved to 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in league play with the win. Penn Hills fell to 0-10 (0-5) with the loss.
