Scouting Report
Physical: Strong / athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame with projectability in the build. 7.87 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Begins with a tall, wide stance showing minor rhythm with the hands at the shoulder as the barrel pointed upwards. Utilized a toe-tap stride with hip coil into the backside and solid direction through the baseball upon footstrike as the hands jolted through a lofty, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Liked to get the long levers extended on pitches out over the plate getting through extension with ease. Solid usage of the lower half and generated plenty of ground power while hitting into a stiff front side, medium posture throughout. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 84 mph per Trackman Baseball with an impressive 42 % line drive rate during his batting practice round. The RHH’s ceiling continues to rise and more power should be expected in the near future as the body keeps maturing. Defensively: The primary third baseman featured a medium setup with athleticism throughout, long actions with range to the glove hand side, stayed down through the baseball while fielding off of the middle of his body with active footwork. Could make the play on the run with ability to throw across his body. Utilized a high ¾ slot with a medium arm circle on throws across the diamond primarily. INF - 74 mph Pitching: RHP - Starts from the left side of the rubber with a short side rocker step, medium leg lift with moderate pace throughout the delivery, solid lower half drive getting directional towards the plate, gets over the front side at footstrike using a high ¾ slot with a medium arm circle. FB ranged from 75-76 T79 mph per Trackman Baseball topping at 1918 spin per Trackman Baseball, mixed in a quality 61-63 mph breaker with 11/5 tilt and countered with a low spin 68-70 mph CH with occasional fade to it.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 175 pounds; strong, athletic frame. 7.73 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even wide stance with bat waggle; loose short take back of hands with even hanging stride. Strong lower half with direct swing path. Middle of the field approach with developing power; peak Trackman exit velocity of 88 MPH. Defensively: Athletic position, active pre-pitch; long smooth strides, fields center of body. soft hands and fields out in front; standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH. Pitching: Glove side set up, compact repeatable delivery; firm front side, very fluid & easy mechanics. Smooth pretty effortless arm action, high 3/4 slot. FB: T 77MPH, 73-76 MPH. Has very good carry, will play up in the zone. CB: 62-64 MPH. 10-4 and sometimes slider type rotation, has good sweep with some depth. CH: 70-71 MPH. Kills spin very well on CH.
5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and uses a short leg-lift stride to begin. Stays behind the baseball well and creates consistent back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Showcased fundament defensive actions with accurate 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty also sat 72-74 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a deliberate, repeatable delivery. Curveball at 57-60 showed 11/5 rotation and changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed at 64-66.
5-foot-6, 130-pound right-handed hitter starts with a square stance and utilizes a short leg-lift to initiate his swing. Showcased feel for all fields during batting practice with an impressive 80 mph bat-exit velocity. Displayed active feet on throws of 64 mph across the infield and recorded an 8.81 60-yard dash time. Right-handed pitcher sat 62-64 mph using a short takeaway in his high 3/4 delivery. His 50-56 mph curveball featured 11/5 spin. Commanded a 56-60 mph changeup that had late downward movement.
