CLASS OF 2022

Will Mahmud, 2B/SS, Downingtown West HS (PA)
5-foot-7, 135-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a short path to the hitting zone and a line drive approach with a bat exit velocity of 65 mph. Showcased developing defensive skills with 63 mph arm strength across the diamond while running an 8.10 60-yard dash. Overall game will benefit from strength gains and continued physical development.

Blake Marushak, SS, Emmaus HS (PA)
5-foot-9, 110-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open, narrow stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a line drive approach and some feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 68 mph. Displayed developing defensive skills while routinely playing through the baseball. Accurate 65 mph arm strength across the diamond should increase as his long frame develops in the coming years. Ran a solid 7.30 60-yard dash.

Kaden Peifer, C/RHP, Red Land HS (PA)
5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed hitter starts from a shoulder wide, slightly open stance and utilizes a controlled leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed solid fee for the barrel and some ability to create backspin with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Showcased sound receiving techniques and 70 mph arm strength with pop times of 2.21-2.28 defensively and ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. The right-hander sat 75-78 with run and sink to his fastball from a sidearm delivery. Curveball had slider action at 63-64, while changeup displayed some sink at 68-70. All-around skill set and solid, athletic frame makes Peifer a prospect to follow in this class.
