Stock Report: 2B/RHP Devon Walker

Devon Walker is a 5-foot-9, 160-pound 2B/RHP from DuBois HS who was an All-District selection at 2B as a sophomore in 2012. He was one of the most impressive prospects at the Western PA Open ID Showcase in January. He ran a 7.51 60-yard dash and threw 77 mph across the infield. Walker displayed soft hands, athletic actions and a quick release from his middle infield position. He was particularly impressive at the plate. Walker used a strong lower half and quick hands to consistently line pitches to all fields. He displayed the ability to stay inside the baseball and showed a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. Walker will also be showcasing his talents as a pitcher at the Preseason All-State Showcase on February 23.
