The Newcomers (Top 5)

Kaden Martin OF / LHP / Knoxville Catholic, TN / 2022

The two-sport athlete finds himself at top the 2022 rankings after a strong summer at Lakepoint.  The left-handed hitting outfielder possess great bat speed and physicality in his game. Martin shows good feel for the barrel and ball jumps off the bat.  He looks to pick up where he left off after football season concludes.

Cooper Clapp SS / 3B / Hardin County, TN / 2022

The Futures Game attendee settles in at number two.  The 5-foot-10, 175-pound lefty-swinging shortstop showed gap-to-gap power and advanced approach at the plate.  Clapp looks to be an advanced defender up the middle w/ great hands and smooth movement patterns.  Clapp looks to lead a solid class of middle infielders.

Nick Correll RHP / 3B / Knights Baseball Academy, TN / 2022

The 6-foot-2 right-hander reclassified to the 2022 class in early August. Showcased strong outings at Lakepoint throughout the summer getting up to 87 at PBR National Championship in late July.  Participated at Future Games, throwing two clean innings, sitting 82-85.  Correll gets the nod as the number one right hander in the class.

Joe King LHP / OF / Ezell-Harding Christian , TN / 2022

The 6-foot, 185-pound southpaw had a busy summer attending Top Prospect Games, Underclass Games, and PBR Future Games.  He simply impressed each and every time.  The lefty was up to 86, sitting 83-85 w/ quick arm and more in the tank.  King showed sharp breaking ball at 70-72 and changeup at 70-71.  The top lefty in the 2022 class.

Jayden Davis SS / RHP / Cookeville, TN / 2022

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound two-way prospect has a knack for barreling baseballs and collecting base hits.  Although a bit undersized, Davis has good pop showing he can drive balls gap-to-gap with ease.  At Top Prospect Games, Davis topped at 82 w/ good spin and life on his fastball paired w/ sharp breaking ball at 69-71.  The #1 two-way player in the class.
