5-foot-10, 170-pound southpaw is about as consistent as the come. Average, lean frame with some projection and great athleticism.  Torbett tossed two frames against Kentucky, surrendering one run while punching out two. Quiet, repeatable delivery with good pace.  Quick arm that works up to 3/4 slot. Comfortably mixes three pitches and will throw in various counts. FB worked 81-84, T85 with good life (2058-2280 rpm early) and some arm side action. Spins it well enough to beat barrels, but can also manipulate action for sink at 1872-1985 rpm per Trackman.  Best secondary is 1/7 action CB in the low 70s with decent bite. Attacks the zone with it and can bury for chase. It’s not a wipe out offering at this point, but uses it efficiently to work counts and his potential to develop into more superior pitch.  Rounds arsenal with low-mid 70s CH with good deception and fade.  Disguises well off the FB with similar spin axis, and neutralizing offering to RHH. Positionally, projects as a corner outfielder contributor, who can run and handle the stick from the left side. Looks to be a collegiate two-way prospect after committing to MTSU shortly at Future Games..

5’10, 170-pound LHP jumped a tick in velocity from when we saw him in January, topping out at 84 while showing an intriguing velocity ceiling.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, projectable.  Pitches from a full wind-up into a H ¾ release.  Clean, repeatable delivery w/ quick arm, intriguing velo ceiling.  Straight FB jumped on hitters, showed occasional short run to his arm side, occasional short cut to his glove side.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation, flashed tightness.  CH w/ short fade and sink.  Around the zone w his 3-pitch mix, misses tended to be up and to his arm-side on this day.  Shows feel for pitching to quadrants with the FB, pitching with intent on the CB.  Projects to command.  Generated 5 swing and misses on 12 swings.

5-foot-10, 164-pound athletic frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in an open stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride before his swing. Shows a level swing plane and has high finish. Barreled up some balls throughout his round. Base hit approach. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 86 mph; had soft hands, a clean exchange and athletic footwork. Laterally, his movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot with quick arm action. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed, used a high ¾ angle with a loose arm action. He is a feel type pitcher who uses high effort. Has an athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Displayed an athletic finish and lands square. His fastball sat 81-83 mph and topped out at 83 mph; had running action. He had tailing action on his changeup(73-74). Threw his 1/7 curveball (68-70) with very consistent command.
