Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  

As October gets underway, our PBR TX staff takes a look at the top 10 most viewed Texas profiles of September. We are able to drill down into the data and track the number of reads thanks to Google analytics.

Conner Helms SS / RHP / Dripping Springs, TX / 2025

Helms is an intriguing 2 way talent from Central Texas.  The uncommitted sophomore shows a good glove on the dirt with a body that projects. He also shows some arm strength on the mound getting up to 82 during our Central Texas Open. 

 

Travis Sykora RHP / SS / Round Rock, TX / 2023

The top arm in Texas for the '23 class, Sykora routinely his 100.  The Texas Commit has a chance to be one of the 1st HS arms taken in next years class. 

 

Robert X. Mitchell LHP / OF / Prestonwood Christian, TX / 2025

The '22 Future Games member, recently committed to Texas after a stellar outing in Georgia.  The smooth Lefty also recently looked dominant and more physical at our Inaugural State Games.   

 

Casan Evans RHP / SS / St. Pius X, TX / 2024

The #1 player in the 2024 class, Evans had an electric Spring for St. Pius X.  He shows a fastball that will get up to 94 and the makings of a wipeout slider. He remains one of the top uncommitted players in the country for the '24 class. 

 

Caden Baker SS / OF / Houston Stratford, TX / 2024

Baker opened some eyes at our State Games a couple weekends ago. The twitchy athlete showed positional versatility and a line drive swing that should garner college coaches attention. 

 

Blake Mitchell C / RHP / Sinton, TX / 2023

There isn't much more Mitchell could accomplish this past season. Won a state championship with Sinton HS and helped the 18U national team win Gold at the WBSC 18U World Championships. Mitchell could hear his name called in the 1st round in next years draft. 

 

Grady Emerson SS / 2B / Argyle , TX / 2026

Emerson was recently ranked #1 in our initial 2026 rankings, and after seeing him all weekend at State Games, it is with good reason.  The TCU commit has one of the sweetest swings in the class and is an elite defender on the dirt. He also helped the 15U National team to gold at the WBSC 15U World Championships. 

 

Spencer Browning SS / OF / Pleasant Grove - Texarkana, TX / 2026

The athletic MIF from East Texas showed up to State Games with a lot of people excited to see him. He didn't disappoint showing good athleticism and + bat speed.  The Razorback commit will be a fun one to follow.   

 

Aiden Sims RHP / OF / Forney, TX / 2024

The recent Texas A&M Commits had an amazing run as Forney's ace this spring during their deep playoff run.  He has one of the best breaking balls in the state and also shows some pop from the Left Side. 

 

Parker Collier C / 3B / Clear Falls, TX / 2025

Collier can do a little bit of everything on the field.  He shows all the tools to be a frontline catcher and can also play on the dirt.  He has a strong build and shows some power projection at the plate.
