Southern Wisconsin Open Preview: Alex Rodriguez

The Southern Wisconsin Open is coming October 24 to Stiks Academy in Oconomowoc,, WI. This event will will be used as an identifier for future invite only events including the PBR Future Games. This week we will preview several of the top players scheduled to be in attendance.

Scouting Report: 7/31/15 - 5-foot-8, 150-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop with an athletic frame and present strength. Solid runner in the 60 running a 6.90. At the plate hits from a wide stance with a deep load to backside, and leg lift trigger. Solid contact when timing is right. Showed strength thru contact with 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively has a low center of gravity with fluid footwork and soft hands. Quick transfer and release. Showed solid lateral agility in workouts and at games. Can play both middle infield positions. Threw 82 mph across the infield during workouts. Went 2-7 with a walk and a run scored in games.
