South Harrison High School catcher Brock Herrod made the trip north to Seton Hill University to display his abilities behind the plate. The 5-foot-7, 145-pound Class of 2017 right-handed hitter showcased a short swing path and a line drive approach during his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 72 mph. Herrod ran an 8.24 60-yard dash and registered pop times of 2.35-2.50 on throws of 65 mph from the crouch during defensive evaluations.
Herrod hit .204 as a sophomore in 2015. He registered 11 hits while making 27 starts following a freshman season in which he hit .410.
