Mount, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound 2020 arm was impressive this week playing for the Fieldhouse Pirates. The right-hander was comfortably throwing in the mid-’80s and touched 87 mph in his last appearance. It’s a quick arm that works short out back and releases from a high ¾ arm slot. He shows some feel for his secondary offerings, and with arm speed should take advancements in that regard. He ran a sub-7.00 60-yard dash on scout day and is a good athlete for his age. Mount’s ability to hold up his velocity throughout multiple appearances demonstrates his durability and athleticism. With added strength, Mount could continue to take huge jumps on the radar gun and in the 2020 rankings.

4.2.17 - Mount is a young 2020 grad with a loose arm and a frame to add more size and carry more weight at 5-foot-10, 130-pounds. Worked out in the outfield, arm was loose in the back with clean actions, lacks the strength but projects to have some quickness in his arm moving forward. Stays same way on mound, 73-74 with fastball, feel for delivery as a young arm, showed he could spin curveball, moved well throughout his delivery, slow tempo, under control, can see him adding velo as he grows. At the plate, right-handed bat, stance is compact, starts his hands up and back, small stride online, hands go with lower half, worked up the middle with some barrels. Interesting 2020, like what the arm can do.
