USA CNT: A 6-foot-5, electric-armed lefty who has a ways to go to reach his potential, but the stuff and athleticism are all there. His raw stuff is some of the best from the left side in the 2025 draft class. During the trials he sprayed a fastball up to 97 and flashed a wipeout, mid-80s slider that spun tight into the 2600 rpm range. More thrower than pitcher at this point, there is plenty of time for Davis to continue his development, polish his command and be considered for the top round in 2025.

6-foot-4, 180-pound projectable frame. At the plate, Davis ii showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 92 mph. Sets up in an athletic stance with a short stride. Bat speed is efficient and shows level swing plane. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels.Up the middle approach. In the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 92 mph;shows consistent hands and a clean exchange. Showed decent accuracy to the base with a very quick arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.94. Projectable on the mound, had a very quick arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Uses some effort in his delivery. Threw his fastball 88-89 mph and topped out at 91 mph; shows consistent command and running action. Throws a 2/8 curveball (69-71) with tight action and around the zone control. Shows fading action and command around the zone on his changeup (74-75).
6/25/19
A long bodied LHP that showed a very smooth, clean delivery. Really showed arm side fade on the FB up 77 mph. He featured a breaking ball at 70 mph that can be a major force as he gets more consistent with it. Could be a real nice arm down the road. The actions in the OF were fluid as well and the ball came out of the hand well and showed arm strength (84 mph). At the plate he started with a slightly closed stance and did a nice job of getting his hands to the hitting zone and showed a level swing path. Repeatedly showed pull side line drives during BP.
